China and Malaysia join hands to explore a new blue ocean in halal trade

On behalf of Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (JAKIM), the Islamic Development Authority of Malaysia, a delegation from SERUNAI Halal Certification Training Service Company in Malaysia visited Guangxi Zhenhua International Trade Co., Ltd. for inspection and research from May 6th to 9th, 2025. During this period, the leadership team of Guangxi Zhenhua International Co., Ltd. and the head of the management team of the China ASEAN Economic and Trade Center Operations Company held talks with senior leaders of SERUNAI, and had in-depth discussions and exchanges on cooperation in international halal certification and other aspects. Both sides agreed to jointly build the China ASEAN Halal Trade Service Center to better assist Chinese enterprises in exploring the international Muslim market and providing professional services.
The Chairman of Guangxi Zhenhua International Trade Co., Ltd. stated that relying on the policy dividends of ASEAN and RCEP, the company will build a one-stop halal trade service platform covering halal certification, halal logistics, warehousing, etc., to help Chinese enterprises explore the halal market with a global population of 2.2 billion.
The head of the management team of the China ASEAN Economic and Trade Center Operations Company introduced the policy advantages under the "Two Countries, Two Parks" cooperation mechanism and expressed the hope that Zhenhua International Trade and SERUNAI will jointly build a halal trade platform.
